32/64bit exe ?!

Razor my problem is....

I cant install it per boot or on windows.


IF i want too istall it per boot it just starts ,load items of the Dvd and then it stops ...

I Downloaded it and burned it as iso on the DVD.


And if i try it in windows it says that i cant run x64 .exe under an x86 windows.

Hmm first off all you cant run x64 under x86 so thats why you cant upgrade.Second off all if you cant boot you either dont have x64 CPU or DVD is corupted.

@Marvin: Hast du eine 2.Rechner uaf den du die DVD testen kannst?

Habs bei meinem bruder getestet der hat ein windows XP Probessional 32bit!

Gleicher fehler.


UNd kein plan wieso es nicht per boot geht :S

Das installierte Windows ist eigentlich egal. Aber wenn er auf diesem Rechner auch nicht bootet. Scheint die DVD wohl einen Fehler zu haben

Update <> Upgrade
Du kannst eine vorhandene Installation von XP/Vista nicht in eine Windows7 Installation überführen. Es muss neu installiert werden

you can but not from x86> x64


Only option is you wait for RTM Win 7 x64 and reformat and install.And buy it ofcourse.

Das stimmt nicht. Die möglichen Update-Pfade ohne Neuinstallation kannst Du dem angegebenen Link entnehmen.
