Ribbon-Lizenz aktualisiert

Hallo,

ich setzt mich grade auch intensiver mit den Ribbons auseinander und blick hier noch nicht 100% durch.
Wie verhält es sicher aber mit der Emba-eigenen Variante? Was ist da jetzt zu beachten?

Meinst du lizenztechnisch oder programmiertechnisch. Wenn du mich nach zweiterem fragst, benutze sie nicht. :P

ersteres ;-). ich glaub da war auch was mit der Lizenz bei der installation von Delphi, aber ich weiß es nicht mehr :oops:
zweiteres reicht mir erstmal zum ausprobieren.
Aber ich weiß jetzt auch, wie ich per Shortcut schnell das Formular als text anzeige und wieder zurück

Sag ich doch. MS hat kein Interesse daran, Entwicklern irgend etwas wegzunehmen oder zu blockieren. Die wollen (insbesondere jetzt, wo Apple im Rechner- und Notebook-Segment so massiv stark wird) eine florierende Software-Infrastruktur auf Ihrer Plattform.

Das die das sogar über das OpenSourcen eigener Libraries machen (Entity Framework, der komplette ASP.NET Stack) zeigt, dass sie es ernst meinen. MS ist nicht mehr so sehr der böse Gigant wie früher. Sie sind nur immernoch (viel) zu teuer ;-)

Ich habe die MS-Antwort auch bei DevExpress eingestellt. Dann schlafen deren Entwickler vielleicht auch ein bisschen ruhiger ;) .

Also, wenn ich das richtig verstanden haben, ist jetzt keine extra Lizenzierung mehr erforderlich, auf der Microsoft-Seite ist da auch nichts mehr zu finden.

Bedeutet das, dass ich nun auch meine Office-Programme (also Textverarbeitung, Datenbank, Tabellenkalkulation) mit Ribbons versehen darf und damit den entsprechenden Microsoft-Office Programmen (Word, Excel, Access) Konkurrenz machen darf?
