XE3 kennt shortdateformat nicht - Warum ?

Hallo,
ich will ein Projekt von Delphi 6 nach XE3
umstellen, doch XE3 kennt shortdateformat nicht.
Warum ?

Diverse globale Variablen wie ShortDateFormat wurden in die Klasse FormatSettings verschoben:
Versuch's mal mit FormatSettings.ShortDateFormat.

Alle Zeitangaben in WEZ +1. Es ist jetzt 17:24 Uhr.
