Viele sehen hier das grosse bild nicht, die meisten haben wahrscheinlich vergessen das wenn Borland 35% MS wurde hatte Borland Delphi schon aus den augen, Borland hat 5 jahre lang versucht Delphi division zu verkaufen (und waerend dieser zeit haben sie Delphi 8, .Net etc rausgebracht um kosten zu abdeken, there was no real innovation), also, the bad boy is Borland, CodeGear whar nur eine negotiation platform.
Lets be honest, since Embarcadero is in charge, Delphi has become more attractive and stable then ever. I am confident that Delphi will again arise as a state of the art
IDE, instead bad mouthing Delphi and Embarcadero we should give them the credit that they just bought it for 22 million
only about 20 months ago, and since then the progress is awesome.
Der x64 compiler is not nicht da, na ja, ich mag das auch nicht aber ich verstehe Embarcadero priorities. They just spent a lot of money, they have to go with a plan that brings a fast income and x64 is not in that plan because the
majority does not need x64 yet.
