Was unter der Haube so los ist, das hat imho auch noch keiner wirklich bemängelt. Das UI ist nun mal zunächst das auffälligste. Und "for the record": Ich hasse Ribbons noch immer.
API aufräumen finde ich sexy, gar keine Frage, aber das ist im Zusammenhang mit der grad laufenden Diskussion um Metro einfach fehl am Platze. Und ich finde nicht, dass das hier hirnloses Gebashe ist - zumindest nicht von allen. Und es ist doch normal, dass der Durchschnittsmensch bei "neu" erstmal eine Augenbraue hoch zieht, und das ggf. auch äussert. Wenn nachher alles garnicht so schlimm wird, ist doch gut. Dennoch ist ein Forum zum diskutieren da, und Diskussionen um über das zu sprechen was einem gerade so durch die Birne schießt. Herr Ballmer ist dafür weniger geeignet

Auch in Zukunft wird nicht alles Metro sein, wie hier einer der großen Komponentenhersteller klarstellt:
