Netzwerkfähiger Dokumentenscanner?

Hat jemand von euch Erfahrung mit netzwerkfähigen Dokumentenscannern?

Er soll standalone an einem Platz stehen, auf Knopfdruck solle er die eingelegten Dokumente scannen und auf einem vorgegebenen Netzwerklaufwerk als PDF (ggf. auch anderes Format) ablegen.

Ich habe einen älteren Dell 3115cn.
Weil der nur SMB1 unterstützt muss ich das per FTP machen auf eine Freigabe im internen Netzwerk machen.
Das geht dann aber ganz gut.

Modernere Scanner sollten auch was Neueres unterstützen (hoffe ich mal).

I use a Fujitsu ScanSnap ix500 scanner for this plus a Windows VM that automatically logs on.

It is out of production now, but I think most of the below holds as the successor ix1500 is very similar (ix500 announcement https://www.fujitsu.com/sg/about/res...-20181002.html )

Before the ix500, I used a Fujitsu ScanSnap S510 which had similar capabilities as the ix500 but was a lot slower.

Cool things:

- included software can do OCR and scan to a path the Windows user has access to
- the scanner is fast, and does a stack of A4 full duplex automatically at a few seconds per page scanning on the scanner and 5-10 seconds per page OCR on a 1.2 Ghz dual core VM
- no fiddling from within the scanner to get network stuff working, or to keep it up-to-date on protocol changes

Drawbacks:

- the software pops up a dialog after each scan, so I wrote this: https://bitbucket.org/jeroenp/wiert....onsoleProject/
- you need a Windows PC that is logged on (so the software does work), which means I configured a VM to auto-logon
- WiFi 2.4 Ghz only (no ethernet interface, no 5 Ghz WiFi)
- you need USB on the same VM connected to the scanner once to configure WiFI
- like any hardware/software combination, sometimes the scanner or Windows VM need a reboot, for instance when it looses network or USB connection

The ix1500 has a touch screen instead of 2 buttons, so it might be that it has more standalone functionalities than the ix500.

Since I need a second scanner in a second place, I might get an ix1500 after the summer.

ich habe gerade 2 von diesen Teilen bei uns im Netz installiert:
Kyocera Ecosys M5521cdn

Diese "all in one" Kiste kann eben genau das, was Du gefordert hast, per Knopfdruck auf dem Gerät den Scan auf einer SMB-Freigabe abzulegen.

Kann das der Scanner nicht selber (per Einstellungen direkt am Scanner oder zugehörige Software)?

Wir nutzen zwar keine Dokumentenscanner aber unsere Multifunktionsgeräte von Brother können das direkt am Gerät einstellen, sofern auf dem PC die Software (ControlCenter) läuft und der PC "für die Taste registriert" ist.

Würd mich wundern, wenn es das nicht auch für die Dokumentenscanner gibt.

Yes, ScanSnap should be the most reliable, fastest and best document scanner for massive scans.

I remember well a few years ago, when I proposed such (expensive) devices to a customer, he bought three of them, and we have to face the reality that Fujitsu was not able to support any interface (TWAIN, or any other).

Ok, Windows 7 were quite new technlogy at that time, and drivers had to be new.
Support was not there, and no solution..
I had to explain this situation to my customer, since then I never looked at Fujitsu again
Maybe they are back to professional business again, but I still feel not well with them.

Wenn ein Drucker eingebaut sein darf, dann kann das fast jedes aktuelle Multifunktionsgerät mit LAN/WLAN, aber du würdest dann sicher nicht nicht fragen.

Wenn nicht ist die Auswahl aber deutlich geringer, es sei denn, man hängt da zum Beispiel einfach einen kleinen PC dran.
Sowohl in Bezug auf Langlebigkeit als auch Einzugsgeschwindigkeit und Qualität des Einzugs haben wir seit Jahren gute
Erfahrungen mit Plustek gemacht, die Software kann auch selber gleich OCR PDFs erzeugen, braucht dafür aber eine
windows kiste, aber jeder 08/15 NUC PC reicht dafür aus.

Wir haben zwei im Einsatz:
für Kleinigkeiten den Brother ADS-2400N und für die Masse ein Alaris S2060w.

Machen sich beide ganz gut, aber das der Alaris doppelt so teuer ist, macht sich auch bemerkbar.
Mehr Funktionen und weniger Ärger.

Maybe they are back to professional business again, but I still feel not well with them.

In that respect I have been bitten by many hardware software combinations. On the scanner side these include OKI, Kyocera and HP.

It is the main reason I buy hardware at shops I can return it if my intended use-case does not appear to work.
