This is not the programmer's solution.
But just a remark:
I've got a sapphire ATI Radeon 9600XT. When I install the driver
package that is included on the CD from Sapphire the GPU temperature is available in the graphic options of windows.
But when I install the
package from
www.ati.com this feature does not exist.
Seems to be a driver-thing
