Kommt auf die Einbindung an.
Wenn du Office nur "normal" per Fernsteuerung als OutofProcess laufen lässt sorgt windows wie eh und je für die Umsetzung 32 <-> 64 Bit.
Nur bei Inprocess gibts Probleme.
MS hat aber eher an die ganzen Plugins gedacht die nur als 32-Lösung existierten. Diese würden (vermutlich ist das Problem in 2017 eher nur noch für Altplugins ohne Weiterentwickung relevant).

Wette dagegen. Auch für Windows gibts den 64-Bit Compiler auch in der Pro-Version. Und dort ist/war der Druck nie so groß.
