Windows User Transfer XP --> DC

Hallo, habe mehrere Benutzer auf verschiedenen XP Rechnern, welche ich jetzt in einer Domäne verwalten möchte. Habe dazu den ganzen Benutzerordner (C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\TestBenutzer) samt System-Dateien und versteckte Dateien in den Profile-Ordner des Domänen-Benutzers TestBenutzer kopiert.
Nach dem anmelden am DomainController sind dann die Eigenen Dateien, die Favoriten des Internet-Explorers, ... usw. alles vorhanden. Leider sind aber die ganzen Windows Einstellungen weg. Z.B.: der Desktop-Hintergrund, Bildschirmschoner-Einstellungen, das Design ist auf Windows-klassik, ...usw.

Wie kann ich einen Benutzer wirklich komplett tranferieren, sodass alle Daten und Einstellungen, sei es Windows-Einstellungen, oder Anwendungsdaten, oder Eigene Dateien, ... usw. übertragen werden?

Keine Ahnung ob hier Alles übertragen wird und ob das mit Domains funktioniert,
aber Versuch macht kluch:

Backing up Settings

1. Step 1
Delete everything off your flash stick/card before proceeding.
You'll just be transferring settings, so you won't need much room.
But this way the storage will remain uncluttered as you work.

2. Step 2
Open the Start menu from the bottom left of your screen.
Go to "Programs," "Accessories," "System Tools" and select "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard."

3. Step 3
Insert the flash stick/card into the computer you're transferring from.

4. Step 4
Click Next on the wizard's screen and select "Old Computer."

5. Step 5
Select "Floppy Drive or Other Removable Media" and scroll down to select your flash stick/card.

6. Step 6
Select "Settings Only" in the next window.
You can choose to transfer files as well,
but you'd most likely need a much bigger flash stick/card for that,
depending on how many files you have.


Transferring Settings to New Computer

7. Step 1
Remove your flash memory from the old computer and insert it into the new one.

8. Step 2
Open the Start menu from the bottom left of your screen.
Go to "Programs," "Accessories," "System Tools" and select "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard."

9. Step 3
Select "New Computer." This is the computer you want to transfer settings to.

10. Step 4
Select "I Don't Need A Wizard Disk."
You already collected all the necessary files in the previous section.

11. Step 5
Select "Floppy Drive or Other Removable Media" and scroll down to your flash stick/card.

12. Step 6
Click "Next" and the wizard will take care of the rest.

Du willst Serverseitige Profile verwenden? Wieso das? Meine Erfahrungen sind das das nur funktioniert wenn man nur einen PC hat (oder wirklich identische Software-Installation) und das eher auch nur als Systemstartbremse.

Wie es genau heißt, weiß ich nicht aber bei uns in der Firma ist etwas ähnliches realisiert, und sobald ich nicht an meinem Arbeitsplatz sitze, passen die Links nicht mehr usw.

Und so Schmankerl wie Bildschirmaufösung, verfügbare Laufwerke usw. sind eh lokal, da vom der Hardware abhängig.

Aber nur Mut, das papierlose Büro steht in den Startlöchern (seit 30 Jahren), nur ein Passwort für alle anwendungen ist auch schon realisiert (seit mindestens 10 Jahren), und Dein Problem wird bestimmt auch schon gestern erledigt sein.
