Tja, wie soll ich sagen, da war ich auf dem Holzweg.
Sorry dafür.
Da erscheint mir Lannes Lösung doch am praktikabelsten.
Sonst habe ich bei Torry noch dieses gefunden.

Ja richtig, aber mit shellexecute machst Du ja auch nichts anderes als die Kommandozeile zu benutzen.

FIND ] "string" filename]
/V Displays all lines NOT containing the specified string.
/C Displays only the count of lines containing the string.
/N Displays line numbers with the displayed lines.
/I Ignores the case of characters when searching for the string.
/OFF Do not skip files...
